A rape-revenge film starring Deborah Tranelli while she was still on Dallas. Tranelli also sings the cheesy theme song. She plays a woman who returns to her hometown after her husband is murdered. There she finds that quite literally every guy in the town is a rapist murderer.
SLEAZY SPOTLIGHT - Deborah Tranelli
Deborah Tranelli plays an assault victim who gets her revenge on her attackers one by one. Tranelli was a regular on Dallas while this film was made, which makes for a pretty brave performance.

Carla returns to her hometown and is made uncomfortable by her ex boyfriend Burke (Ed Crick) who now works at a gas station and is gross. Sparky (Nick Nicholson) also works at the gas station, and is no less creepy. Carla returns home to her parents (Helen McNeely and Gerald McCoy). Timmy (Steve Roderick) the creepy gardener. Yeah, pretty much every guy in this film is an awful human being. Timmy asks for some water and ogles Carla as she walks around in a t-shirt. Carla gets into an argument with Arnie (Don Gordon Bell) who has an ice business. He accuses her of hitting his truck. [Like I said, every guy in the film is a terrible person.] Carla struts down main street. The butcher Fletch (Kaz Garas) may be the worst of them all. Sparky, Burke, Arnie drink and drool over Carla at the bar. Fletch gets aggressive with Carla in the parking lot. Carla returns home. What a shitty day. Timmy watches her through the window. Carla notices him.
Carla reports Timmy to Sheriff John Cates (Bill McLaughlin) who is a total asshole about it. Arnie, Burke, Sparky Timmy and Fletch get drunk and decide to raid Carla's place. Her parents are away and she's sleeping on the couch. Carla answers the door and they all bust in. What follows is a genuinely terrifying and very long rape scene. The guys take turns gang raping her. Carla's parents arrive home.. They're both blown away. Timmy is also killed for good measure. Carla's dead mother falls on top of her. The guys presume that Carla is dead too. The guys later learn that Carla is very much alive. Carla is in the hospital but has no intention of staying there. She has plans for revenge.
Carla walks along the shore where Burke is on his boat, then she strips naked. Burke is lured into the water with her. She pulls out a knife and cuts Burke's dick off (!) Then Carla ties Burke to the boat and sends the boat back out into the water, dragging him behind. Carla watches rapist-murderer number one go down. The police find that Carla is now missing from the hospital. The town is up in arms about the murder. Sparky is next - Carla drops a car on him. Carla then goes to Arnie's ice business. A pretty damn cool setting as she and Arnie play cat and mouse. She sends Arnie into the ice chipper. Fletch leads an angry mob to burn down Carla's place. They presume Carla died in the flames. Carla shows up at Fletch's butcher shop and is killed. But she still isn't finished. Carla drives to NYC. She finds the guy that killed Mark and shoots him in an alley. THE END
REVIEW
A direct ripoff of I Spit on Your Grave (1978) - the similarities are all over the place. While it's toned way down, it still manages to be effectively terrifying and grim. Deborah Tranelli is actually quite good. It's hard to believe she was still on Dallas while making this - and on game shows like Match Game and Password Plus shortly thereafter.
RATING: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ 7/10
