A vampire spreads her vampirism to her boyfriend, who spreads it to a girl, who spreads it to another guy, who spreads it to a girl.... and on it goes. It's so boldly repetitive that it may be worth a watch just to test your endurance, to see what you're made of. Let's see if we can make it through...

24 Exposures (2013)
Why are there so many movies with photographers as killers (or suspected killers)? As I mentioned in the Screaming Dead (2003) review, I never knew this was such a thing among B-movies before VZ1. So far, we've looked at Dark Room (1989), Whirlpool (1970), Fatal Images (1989), Blood Harvest (1987), Click the Calendar Girl Killer (1990), The Photographer (1974), Bizarre Lust of Sexual Deviant (2001) and the best of the killer photographer films, Double Exposure (1983). So, let's keep this train rolling with this indie mumblecore flick from 2013.

Man, Woman and Beast (1977)
Originally released as Spell – Dolce mattatoio (Spell – Sweet Abattoir), but then changed to L'uomo, la donna e la bestia (The Man, the Woman and the Beast) to capitalize on the popularity of Walerian Borowczyk's La Bête. Director Cavallone said the re-titling of the film was "very irritating" and it was "definitely a shitty title".

Fatal Pulse (1988)
Among slasher films, this may be the most misogynist of them all. In a genre built around killing (primarily) women in spectacularly gory ways, that's saying something. Not that this film is even remotely well put together or among the most violent. It's just that it seems to relish killing each and every girl in the film, and ensures plenty of boobs will be shown in the process. You'll see what I mean...

Sweet Prudence & The Erotic Adventure Of Bigfoot (2011)
Sasquatch movies are always fun. So far, we've seen Demonwarp (1988), The Geek (1971), and The Beauties and the Beast (1974). Since these are exploitation films, it's perhaps not surprising they have a rather twisted sexual dynamic going on with Bigfoot. This film is no exception.

Gorotica (1993)
An ultra-cheap SOV movie by Hugh Gallagher, who brought us Gore Whore, a movie I didn't particularly care for, and it actually made me depressed. So, why check out another Gallagher joint? Well, his Gore Trilogy (Gorgasm was the first in the series) seems like required viewing for old-school SOV fans, so let's give it another go...

Orgasm Torture in Satan's Rape Clinic (2004)
Other than the ridiculously lurid title, why are we looking at this godforsaken movie? No idea. It's a William Hellfire movie, so it's going to be cheap as hell and feature weird kinky stuff with women being treated badly. That's a given. This is the man behind The Lord of the G-Strings: The Femaleship of the String (2003) and Lust in the Mummy's Tomb (2000). He also made Cannibal Doctor, which, as we'll see, is almost identical to this film.

Don't Deliver Us from Evil (1971)
What was the deal with murderous kids in the seventies? I suspect the Boomers were having issues with having children of their own. But even more so, what was the deal with with soulless, homicidal lesbians? My Nights with Susan, Sandra, Olga & Julie (1975) features a couple of sinister, satanic girls (as does Alucarda) which shares a lot of similarities. This film is based on the Parker–Hulme murder case of 1954 (as was Peter Jackson's Heavenly Bodies); so, perhaps a few shocking cases had sparked the public's imagination of serial killing, demonic young lesbians. Let's have a look...

Bare Behind Bars (1980)
Original Title: A Prisão; Supposedly this was a parody of WIP films... but how do you parody a genre that's already a parody of itself? The films were already so-incredibly over-the-top; no parody could top the average WIP playing it straight. So, I'm just going to go on the assumption that this isn't so much a parody as it is a celebration of one of the sleaziest genres to ever grace the silver screen. Enjoy.
