El Sexoservidor 4 (2020)

 

A former sex worker gets married and has a kid - and tries to live a normal life.  His wife has faith in him - but turns out, she shouldn't have.  He's a complete mess and ruins their lives (which is putting it mildly).

Adrian (Raul Tarrago) and Lucía (Nicole Mayer) are in love. The newly married happy couple has sex.

Fast forward and Lucía and Adrian have a child.  

Lucia's father (Héctor Soberón) isn't exactly pleased with his son-in-law.

As it turns out, dad has a reason to distrust his awful son-in-law.  Adrian gets a text from Raquel (Brenda Barragan) to meet him at a hotel.  She got his number from a friend who recommended him - the friend was once one of his customers back in his sex-worker days.

But it gets worse.  After Adrian has sex with Raquel, he takes on another customer who turns out to be a transvestite - and contracts an STD from the encounter. He then passes on the STD to Lucía who finds out from her doctor.  She doesn't understand how this could be.  She hasn't had any sexual partners other than Adrian - and he's been faithful. Right?

Lucía confronts Adrian about it, but he pleads not guilty, and comes up with flimsy explanations.

Determined to hit absolute rock bottom, he starts shooting up heroin.

He gets his drugs from a girl (Nabila Gallegos AKA Nabila Alejandra Rojas) they call a "hipster".

The hipster dances naked.

Lucía and her father continue to be concerned about the wayward Adrian.

Adrian tracks down the hipster at a club to get more heroin.  But no more freebies for him.

So he steals Lucía's jewelry and pawns it for drug money.

His addiction gets him wrapped up with El Toro (Alejandro Camacho) the club owner and drug dealer.

Adrian then finds the transvestite that gave him the STD and beats her/him nearly to death.  

But the transvestite is part of a transvestite street gang - and they return the favor, beating the shit out of Adrian.  Lucía finds him in the park, and wondering what the hell is going on.

Adrian begs the hipster for more drugs, and gets violent.

He's taken to El Toro whose thugs rough him up.

While taking care of their child, Adrian does heroin in the bathroom.

Lucía somehow manages to forgive him and they have sex.

But eventually it gets to be too much for even Lucía to tolerate.  Adrian spirals even further, ending up in a homosexual three-way.  He wakes up the next morning realizing he's pissed it all away.  It ends with his future not looking so good.

RATING: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ 5/10

REVIEW: This had a lot to appreciate from an exploitation cinema standpoint - a decent amount of nudity, violent transvestite street gangs, and just a level of spiraling chaos that has to be applauded.  But overall there just wasn't enough of these elements to carry the film and make it worth watching.
