It's a macabre scene, but incredibly compelling and memorable. You don't expect this main character to die in the bath halfway through the film; and we damn sure don't expect Ross to get naked in this film. This is when method acting really works in our favor.

The sisters decide to give nerdy Maiolini a makeover, which starts by stripping off her clothes.  You gotta love the "nerd makeover" in film.

Lys has ointment rubbed after a hot iron is applied to her breast; Lys also provides full frontal - which may be one of the only examples.

Alberti gets butt naked to perform a satanic ritual; then again as she's murdered and placed in the bathtub.  For me, this is the most effective satanic movie of all time.

(#21) SUZY MANDEL - THE PLAYBIRDS (1978)

Mandel went on to actually make a difference in the world in a different career.  But she definitely made a difference in my world with this scene.  But perhaps not as much as the next lady from the same film...

A traumatic movie, but this scene perhaps makes up for the soul crushing ending

Clementi is naked a lot in this film; like she may have more nude scenes and a higher percentage of nudity in a single film than anyone on this list.  Respect.

(#8) EDWIGE PIERRE - SUMMER NIGHT FEVER (1978)

Kudos to Edwige who delivers this long exhausting scene running around with lots of physical requirements. 

(#7) RAQUEL EVANS - THE LAST SIN OF THE BOURGEOISIE (1978)

An incredible sex scene; made even better knowing the director of this film was Evans' brother!

(#6) GINA JANSSEN - HOT NIGHTS AT DRACULA'S CASTLE (1978)

Janssen puts on a damn clinic in this film. Whether she's rocking the bridal outfit, getting drugged and stripping, enjoying an orgy, getting carried around a castle nude, or just being raped in a coffin, Janssen is killing it in this movie.

(#5) DIANNE HULL - THE FIFTH FLOOR (1978)

What makes this such a great scene is that it plays out like a PG rated TV movie - but then we get full frontal from Hull - including a clearly inadvertent grundle shot as she's carried from the tub.

(#4) PATRIZIA GORI - NATHALIE: ESCAPE FROM HELL (1978)

Gori is a goddamn goddess, so this sex scene reaches all kind of levels of epic.  The subsequent torture scene isn't too shabby either.

(#3) KELLY NICHOLS - THE TOOLBOX MURDERS (1978)

One of the most memorable nude scenes ever - at least for me.  It begins with a calm scene in the bath, then the intruder chases her around the room.  She's shot with a nail gun; her body is then examined by the detectives at the crime scene and morgue.

(#2) MARIA CONCHITA ALONSO - PREDATORS OF THE SAVANNAH (1978)

Gorgeous Maria Conchita Alonso is fully naked a lot in this film; definitely was a surprise when I came across this one.

(#1) OLIVIA PASCAL - TRIANGLE OF VENUS (1978)

I'm not sure how you can not rank this as number one.  Olivia Pascal is among the greats - and here she is splayed out for all to see in Triangle of Venus.  1978 was definitely a great year for Pascal, and this moment on a dirty sex-dungeon mattress is top shelf.
