REVIEW: A sizable quantity of eye candy but could've used more substantial sleaze. That being said, this was a lively romp that was a ton of fun.
CARMEN RUSSO
If you're taking a drink every time Carmen Russo points her butt at the camera, you better have plenty of beverages near at hand. Or maybe get your steps in walking to the kitchen - it's a healthy exercise!
SYNOPSIS
Let's meet the three central ladies - friends from back in school. Claudia (Carmen Russo), Rita (Nadia Cassini), and Caterina (Olinka Hardiman). Claudia is married to a perpetually jealous TV repairman Alberto (Sergio Leonardi). His hard boiled jealousy makes their marriage tumultuous. Rita is a prudish and conservative girl; married to goofball doctor Filippo (Gianfranco D'Angelo). Caterina works in a pharmacy and is married to a studly dentist, Gabriele (Michele Gammino). Caterina has been having fun teasing and titillating Giacomo Rotelli (Lucio Montanaro) a weirdo dimwitted pervert. She shows Giancomo some leg as she gets in the car
An acquaintance from school has died, and the three old friends meet at the notary's office for the will to be read. It's a bit surprising that Anne would leave them anything considering she was publicly humiliated by the ladies back in school. Caterina, Claudia and Rita listen to the stipulations of the inheritance. Anne's will states that, in order to collect the massive inheritance, they will have to cheat on their husbands and provide photographic proof within just a few days. This causes Rita to faint at the mere thought.
Filippo can't believe the good fortune - but of course knows that his wife Rita would never dare to cheat on him. Rita is beside herself with dismay at the thought of such a thing. Claudia is already ahead of the game - she has been cheating on Alberto for a while with Gabriele - Caterina's husband. She tells Gabriele about the stipulation in the will, but soon Alberto has found her... Poor Alberto falls from the building into a trash can. This is a running gag - Alberto nearly catching Claudia being faithful, but ending up falling out a window before he can find her.
Filippo desperately wants Rita to cheat on him, but he knows she'll never do it on her own. So he has a plan to get Giovanni (Gianni Ciardo), a cellist, to seduce her. Gabriele and Claudia are ready to get some proof of their infidelity to provide the lawyer. Claudia is frustrated because they can't seem to get a good photograph. Caterina, Claudia and Rita all keep up the pretense that they're not being unfaithful for money. Caterina ups her game with dimwitted fool Giacomo. But Giacomo is such an idiot that Caterina can't seem to make it happen with him. Filippo is still trying to get Rita into the arms of Giovanni. But, for some reason, Rita only has eyes for him.
Gabriele and his dental assistant Gianna (Alessandra Canale) - Gianna wants to get it on with Gabriele. Gabriele is horrified to find that Claudia has arrived. Claudia is pissed because he's supposed to be cheating with her so they can collect the money. To make matters worse, Alberto (perpetually jealous and following Claudia wherever she goes) has tracked her down. He thinks he's finally found proof of her infidelity, but it's Gianna in the chair not Claudia. And of course he ends up flying out the window.
Claudia enlists the help of Perginetti (Gianfranco Barra) who runs a camera store. Little does she know, he has also been hired by Caterina to photograph her adultery. Filippo has been laying the groundwork to get Rita interested in Giovanni - sending her flowers and gifts. Giovanni and Rita meet at the Midas Palace Hotel on the night of the deadline. Indeed, all three couples choose this spot for their last shot at photographing their adultery. Rita and Giovanni get a room. But their session is interrupted. As we'll see - an escalating chaos ensues. Claudia and Gabriele meet at the hotel. Claudia resists because she's waiting on Perginetti to arrive and photograph their affair from the window. Gustavo (Ugo Fangareggi) the bellhop comes crashing through the door. Picking up his spilled tray proves difficult with the distraction. Gabriele and Claudia resume their session. But before they can begin... Alberto arrives and he's disguised as a sheikh. But before they can begin... Alberto arrives and he's disguised as a sheikh. Claudia doesn't recognize him and runs down the hall, backing into a random hotel room for safety. The room is currently occupied by Caterina. Neither Claudia or Caterina know what the other is doing here. Gabriele and Caterina get busy with Perginetti at the window with his camera. Gabriele was expecting to find Claudia in this room, but funny how things work out. This wasn't the intended coupling Perginetti was supposed to capture, but it'll do. Giacomo stumbles into the room, expecting to find Caterina but faced with Claudia instead. Claudia doesn't care who it is at this point, she wants her proof of infidelity. Naturally, Alberto arrives before she can make it happen. Alberto is prepared to go kung-fu on Giacomo. Well, it didn't exactly work out as planned; they leave a lot worse for wear. THE END
