Black Tie Nights - Whose Thong Is It Anyway? S01E11 (2004)

   

A TV series about two friends who start a dating service called Black Tie Nights.  While not terribly original - in fact pretty paint-by-numbers for late night cable erotica, it does feature many sexploitation all-stars of the day. Season 1, Episode 11 - "Whose Thong Is It Anyway?"

Ryan Lundy (Glen Meadows) joins Cooper Snow (Tiffany Hendra) whose watching a soap

Margot (Aria) is being confronted by Drake Thorne (Russ Orso) asking who these panties belong to - implying she's having a lesbian affair.

Ryan and Cooper then take a shower

Back at the Black Tie Nights office, Ryan is flirted with by Edwina (Patricia Skeriotis), a dating service customer.

There's a whole side story here where Ryan tests Cooper's jealousy using Edwina.  Pretty lame.

Olivia Hartley (Amy Lindsay) is still fooling around with Charley (Drake Dorado) the chiropractor.

Olivia interviews a client, Cass (Jenna Dee)

Cass has just moved to California trying to become an actress

She's matched with Harry (Cole Winkler) who is just a gaffer, but also has aspirations of being an actor.

Both Harry and Cass get a job on the soap opera which Cooper was watching earlier - but only for small roles.

Cass and Harry really hit it off.

The earlier scene resumes where the owner of Margot's panties remains a mystery.

Harry unexpectedly claims the panties as his own.

Cass and Harry continue to get along well... but trouble is afoot. 

Margot hits on Harry, suggesting he should have sex if he wants to get ahead in this business.

Cass hears grunting and moaning coming from Margot's dressing room.

Margot and Drake are having sex - but Cass presumes she's having sex with Harry.

Cass confronts Harry.

She eventually finds out the truth, and they have a long makeup kiss - much to the chagrin of the Director (Gidget Harmony)

Later, Cass and Harry have sex.

Jenna Dee was really good as the naive starlet; the Ryan-Cooper shower scene was nice, but their side-story was particularly weak.  Overall, perhaps not on par with most of the Black Tie Nights episodes, but still a respectable entry.
