Black Tie Nights - Makeover S01E08 (2004)

   

A TV series about two friends who start a dating service called Black Tie Nights.  While not terribly original - in fact pretty paint-by-numbers for late night cable erotica, it does feature many sexploitation all-stars of the day. In this episode the great Kehli O'Byrne makes a return from episode 2, plus Janet Tracy Keijser having kitchen sex. Season 1, Episode 8 - "Makeover"

Ryan Lundy (Glen Meadows) and Cooper Snow (Tiffany Hendra) are blackout drunk

Cooper wakes up the next morning realizing she's once again slept with her nerdy assistant.

This happened once before in Vegas (in Episode 6), and Cooper is determined not to let it happen again.  Her main problem with Ryan is that he is such a nerd.

Olivia Hartley (Amy Lindsay) is once again fantasizing about having sex with her late husband Vince Hartley (Hoyt Richards).

Ryan has a plumber named Bo (Daniel D. Anderson) fix a leak.  Then he hears about his divorce...

Bo explains he was once happily married to a woman named Patty (Janet Tracy Keijser)

They bought a new house and had sex on the kitchen floor.

Patty left him, not because of money, but because of his awful lack of style.  So, Ryan feels a kinship with Bo since he's also a victim of bad style (per Cooper).

Olivia and Cooper have the perfect match for Bo, so they call her up...

You'll recall that soap opera star Andrea Johnson (Kehli O'Byrne) liked men that were "real" - she hates the fake Hollywood types.  She likes a real man.

Andrea is currently having sex with some random dude.

Cooper gives Bo a much needed makeover.

Now he's ready for a date with Andrea.

While out with Andrea he runs into Patty.

Patty can't believe he's with a soap opera star, and Bo loves the opportunity to rub it in.

Back at Andrea's mansion, Bo pounds her against the front door glass.

But Bo isn't the only one getting a makeover - Olivia gives one to Ryan.

Cooper sees Ryan and barely recognizes him.

Ryan is finally able to have sex with Cooper when she's sober. THE END

A return from Kehli O'Byrne is just what the doctor ordered.  As mentioned in other Black Tie Nights reviews, I recognize this is lightweight fluff, but not every beer needs to be a local craft brew; Bud Light Lime is okay sometimes too.
