Black Tie Nights - Girl on Page 19 S01E07 (2004)

   

A TV series about two friends who start a dating service called Black Tie Nights.  While not terribly original - in fact pretty paint-by-numbers for late night cable erotica, it does feature many sexploitation all-stars of the day. Season 1, Episode 7 - "Girl on Page 19"

Olivia Hartley (Amy Lindsay) has still not gotten over the loss of her husband two years ago. Cooper Snow (Tiffany Hendra) wants to fix her up with a guy named Grant who will be a good match.

Olivia dreams of having sex with her late husband Vince Hartley (Hoyt Richards)

Vince's "ghost" tells Olivia she needs to move on.  Then he disappears.

Olivia and Cooper prepare for the next client at Black Tie Nights

Ryan Lundy (Glen Meadows) brings in Andy (Mark Weiler) who wants to get with the girl on page 19 of a magazine.

The problem is that the girl is unnamed.

But they agree to help him out.

Andy tells his sad backstory...

He was going to go camping with his girlfriend Harmony (Selena Lori); however, she got sick and had to cancel.

Lizzy (also played by Selena Lori) is Harmony's twin sister.  Andy goes camping with her instead, with Harmony's blessing.

Andy and Lizzy drink too much and have sex in the tent.

It was great, but afterwards Andy felt inconsolably guilty and hasn't dated a girl since.

Olivia agrees to go on a date with Grant (Doug Jeffery)

They seem to hit it off

That night, Olivia has a dream about Grant

But Grant becomes her late husband once again.  

Olivia wakes up, realizing she just cannot let go.

Realizing she's not ready, Olivia sets Grant up with Sonya (Ria Solova)

Ryan and Cooper are able to find the identity of the Page 19 girl.  She's a model named Sheila (Belinda Gavin) who agrees to go on a date with Andy.

Andy confesses that he's been broken up about what happened that fateful night with Lizzy and continues to feel terrible about betraying Harmony.

Sheila tells Andy not to feel bad, because she has a surprise...

Harmony makes a surprise entrance from the tent.  This was all a setup staged by Cooper.

Harmony heard Andy's confession and all is forgiven.

Harmony and Andy have sex in the tent.

Olivia, Ryan and Cooper celebrate another successful match. THE END

Welp.  Whatever formula this series is using to make above average late-night cable erotica is still working well.  This series is like a box of Twinkies - absolutely devoid of substance, but the empty calories taste damn good.
