The Elevator (1972)

For Sandy Carey completists.  She plays a secretary trapped in an elevator with a guy.  They have sex and reminisce about past sexual experiences.

Jane (Sandy Carey) is a secretary; Howard (Buddy Boone) is her boss.

Howard doesn't give her the time of day and treats her like shit.

Jane gets in an elevator with Peter (Jim Frost)

The elevator breaks down, and they're stuck.

Howard tells Jane about his lover Joy (Jill Sweete)

He reminisces about having sex with her.

He also thinks about his friend (Adam Ward) tapping his woman (Candy Samples)

He and Joy join in.

Back to the elevator, they get comfortable on the floor.

Jane thinks about her lover, the asshole Howard...

Deep in thought...

Jane and Howard used to have a good thing going.

They took the romance up to his office.

Peter attempts to lift Jane up to the roof of the elevator.

The plan doesn't work.

But it does ignite a spark between them.

The elevator suddenly is operational.  They tidy up and go their separate ways. THE END

If your idea of a good movie is watching Sandy Carey get pounded to the muzak version of "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)", then this is for you... and me, actually. Love me some Sandy Carey.  However, aside from all the humping, it's a snoozefest.

★★★☆☆4/10
