REVIEW: When I watched and reviewed this film a few years ago, I absolutely hated it. I guess after watching dozens and dozens of other similar Italian sex comedies, I've learned to appreciate it a little more. Not that it's particularly good, but definitely not awful (as 2021 me supposed it was).
DOUBLE FEATURE - La Liceale (1975) and La liceale nella classe dei ripetenti (1978)
SYNOPSIS
We begin as with the first film, in a classroom full of smirking annoying teenagers. Angela (Gloria Guida) and Carlo (Rodolfo Bigotti). Professor Modesti (Alvaro Vitali). Vitali played a student in the first film, now a music teacher. As with every Vitali role, he plays an over-the-top imbecile. Angela's father Zenobio Cantalupo (Lino Banfi) and mother (Paola Pieracci). Tonino (Sylvain Chamarande) is distracted by Angela's hotness and wrecks the car. Tonino's father, Professor Pinzarrone (Gianfranco D'Angelo), has a plan. He's going to have his son milk his auto accident for all its worth. Tonino's "injuries" inspire the sympathies of Angela. One of the many unfunny gags; Cantalupo accidentally jabs the needle into Pinzarrone's ass.
Angela is clearly meant to be with Carlo, but she feels guilty about Tonino. It wouldn't be right to cheat on him when he's bedridden. Professor Modesti jams with he students; Vitali really hamming it up. One of the many unfunny pranks these annoying teens pull on Professor Pinzarrone. Angela's father Zenobio is donning a troupe and fooling around with a side woman, Tecla (Ria De Simone). They play tennis and flirt with each other. The boys cut a hole in the wall to view the girls' shower. Second from left is Brigitte Petronio. Shower girls: Brigitte Petronio and Luigina Rocchi.
Angela visits Tonino who's still faking it. She gives him a special surprise... Angela takes off all her clothes. Turn out, Tonino is quite the cad. He's not only faking the injuries, he's out with a girl (Anja Engstrom) at the disco. Zenobio and Brigitte Petronio at the track and field competition. Lots of awful attempts at physical comedy in this scene. Carlo finally starts to get some headway with Angela at a party. But Angela puts a stop to it. She pictures Tonino looking near death. Guilt overwhelms her and she leaves the party. But the party must go on. They play some weird guessing game which somehow results in Lina (Hélène Chauvin) taking her top off. All the kids scatter with the unexpected arrival of Zenobio and his side honey Tecla. They get frisky, not realizing all the students are hiding behind the couch. Surprise! All the students pop up from their hiding places. Professor Pinzarrone and son finally get their just desserts. Even Zenobio suffers the consequences of cheating via Tecla's significant other. And of course Angela and Carlo end up together. THE END
