The Vampires Night Orgy (1973)

A Spanish vampire movie that isn't nearly as lurid as its title... or at least not the version I was able to get my hands on.  As with most Euro horror from the seventies, there are a thousand different versions.

A bus headed to Bojoni must make an emergency stop when the driver has a heart attack.

Tolnia is closer, so they go there instead.  Big mistake.

On the bus are Luis (Jack Taylor) and Alma (Dyanik Zurakowska)

Tolnia has nightwalkers roaming around; they seem more like zombies than vampires.

They kill one of the group, but it's so dark it's difficult to see.

Luis and Alma enjoy the rustic inn.

Helga Liné plays the La Countess

She's a vampire; the Countess throws a dude into a mob of vampires/zombies.

Some much needed nudity from Dyanik Zurakowska

Alma doesn't realize Luis is watching through a hole in the wall.

The most effective moment in the film: the zombies rise up from the seats on a bus and attack the group.

This ridiculous Paul Bunyan type character; the countess' ax man.

Luis and Alma realize they need to get the fuck outta town.

And so they do - running over a bunch of zombies in the process.

They report it to the police, but there's not such town. THE END

Oh, brother.  I take solace in the fact that there are most certainly sleazier, more fun versions out there.  This had "gloomy" down pat, but everything else was a disappointing bore.

Double Feature: Same basic story: a busload of folks have to spend the night in this remote town which has a vampire problem - The Playgirls and the Vampire (1960)
