(AKA Dressurakt für wilde Mädchen) The title is an allusion to the highly popular book Der dressierte Mann (The Manipulated Man) by German author Esther Vilar, that was published in 1971 and argued that women were dominating men. Another Schulmädchen-Report style film, which means we're served several episodes/vignettes around a certain theme, some mildly amusing, some tragic, all a bit odd.
A very memorable title sequence where a woman is being tamed/whipped as if she's a lion in a cage... all to the tune of an instrumental of "On the Road Again" by Canned Heat
As with almost all these Schulmädchen-Report films, they try to frame them as a documentary. I'm not sure why they insist on doing this. Perhaps, it's like the old American films which gave the illusion of being a documentary on nudism or reproductive health, but were really just excuses to show nudity. Photography magazines from mid-century did the same thing.
As mentioned, the film centers on Der dressierte Mann by Esther Vilar,
The film starts with some really fun imagery - quick slices of life showing the differences between male and female in society.
Finally we get to our first story - featuring Ulrike Butz. She's a homely nerd who dresses very conservatively.
Ulrike Butz puts on some revealing star-spangled hotpants, and gets a completely different reaction from men. Imagine that?
She hops on a guy's motorcycle and they go have sex in the woods.
The next story features Evelyne Traeger, who's trying to have some peace and quiet while she reads.
Her flatmate, Iris Wobker, is constantly having loud sex - which is driving Evelyne crazy.
Evelyne Traeger decides she's going to have a word with her flatmate.
Iris basically tells her to fuck off, it's none of her business.
Evelyne abandons the idea of reading a book, and pulls out the ol' vibrator.
However, it seems her electrical outlet needs repair - she can't get power to her vibrator.
She smokes and reads while she waits on her repairman.
Little does she realize, this repairman is the same dude who was screwing Iris next door.
Evelyne ends up screwing the repairman as well.
She's a bit disgusted when she finds out that he's the one causing all the racket.
The next story features Monica Marc as a secretary.
She invites her boss to her place, and he carries her to the bedroom.
They have sex. Monica Marc is under the incorrect assumption that this encounter means a damn thing to her boss.
This causes conflict at the office.
Margot Mahler was in a ton of these films; never as a sex object, but for comedy. She's in a good many Bavarian sex comedies.
This story is pretty stupid. An apartment is absolutely wrecked; the main attraction is just watching Margot Mahler slide around on the slippery floor.
Astrid Frank is the main attraction in the next story.
This story is just stupid - how this guy just wears her out. Astrid Frank does deliver some major league nudity and "energetic" sex scenes.
A composer is having an affair with young Carmen Jäckel.
The wife confronts him.
Aren't I good enough anymore?
Back at Carmen Jäckel's place - check out that clown poster!
Like I said, these stories sometimes have a tragic element. This guy somehow survives.
A passable Schulmädchen-Report style film, but nothing really stands out. Aside from the constant supply of nudity, nothing much to see here.
