(Original Title: Ein guter Hahn wird selten fett) Partners in a cleaning service provide a different sort of service for bored unsatisfied German housewives.
Frank and Fred run a cleaning service out of their VW bus.
Frank (Jan Boven) and his girl, Nana (Tina Traven)
Fred (Rainer Peets) and his girl, Vicky (Karin Lorson). Vicky is very wealthy, and so Fred no longer needs to work with the cleaning service.
Their maid, Francine. She doesn't figure into the story at all.... however, I should mention that there is a hardcore version of this film. I haven't seen it, and may very well involve the maid.
It's a rather dismal looking film.
Fred's replacement is Little Joe (Arno Jürging), who is gay, and it just isn't the same.
Fred confides in Nana that Vicky has kicked him to the curb. So, he's back in the cleaning business.
They're cleaning an apartment and a housewife, Michaela Roos, requests Frank's services to change a light bulb.
I'm sure you saw where this was going.
Another neighbor lady, Uschi Wagner in a bad wig.
Fred gets his turn.
The great Gina Janssen requests their services.
Little do Frank and Fred realize - Gina Janssen is friends with Vicky. She recommends their services to her.
Another lady in the apartment - Inga Werdenigg.
Inga Werdenigg doesn't go for Frank or Fred. Instead, she tries to make it happen with her husband who is ridiculously distracted by futbol.
This gag is milked to the max, with it going on for maybe ten full minutes.
With the boys' bad behavior discovered, Vicky and Nana work together to trap them both and get them back.
One more round - this time with Maria Domingues.
And so, the couples are back together, and they enjoy a meal in the trailer pulled by the VW bus. So very classy. THE END

Double Feature: Would seem a good match with the British sex comedy, Confessions of a Window Cleaner (1974)
★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆
