Open Day and Night (1981)

(Original Title: Abierto día y noche) This is an Argentinian sex comedy, but features stars of the genre from several countries including Peru, Venezuela, Mexico and Chile.

The opening credits (animated) highlight the film's main attraction - that it features a huge cast from across Latin America.

Tincho Zabala operates a high-tech hotel designed for lovemaking.

Rebeca Silva is one of the cleaning ladies that can't seem to do anything right.

Nelly Beltrán runs the place with Tincho Zabala

A great nude scene from Rebeca Silva as she's awaken by the hotel handyman.

They're caught by Nelly Beltrán.

The handyman screws up some of the hotel's complex electronics which causes the place to erupt into chaos.

The confusion over room numbers causes this couple to get busted.

Now we meet the gorgeous Argentinian actress Alicia Zanca

She checks into the hotel with this dumbshit.  They fool around with the various whistles and bells that come with each room.

You may remember Alicia Zanca from Los amores de Laurita (1986)

She gets naked and they hop in the high-tech tub.

Alicia Zanca's parents have tracked her down to this hotel.

 Shit escalates.

A group of guys are partying at a cabaret.

Our good friend Alberto Rojas does his trademark "caballo" puff.

Cristina Tocco is one of the prostitutes they bring back to the hotel.

Chaos ensues as the revelers and their whores check in.

Cristina Tocco provides a topless scene.

Just to demonstrate the level of humor we're dealing with - this prostitute takes off her clothes...

.. and we see she's covered in the various credit cards she accepts.

The great Hilda Aguirre

She takes a shower and is grabbed by a guy.

It turns out, he's just a lover.

Hilda Aguirre has trouble getting a guy aroused in bed; it's determined that this garlic wreath was left in the room which was placed there to sabotage their lovemaking (by the guy that grabbed her in the shower).

 Subsequent hi-jinx ensue.

Silvia Pérez checks into a room (cheating on her husband).

They're busted; there's a gag here, but it's not worth explaining.

Ugh.  I appreciate the gathering of Latin American stars - and love that many of them disrobe.  However, the individual stories are dreadful.  The retro tech in the hotel is pretty enjoyable, but otherwise this is a disappointing dud.

Double Feature: El telo y la tele (1985) is another movie with a lengthy cast, comprised of a bunch of individual stories of couples in a certain high-tech hotel.
