Carnalitá Morbosa (1981)



An Italian sex comedy about a dying playboy and the girls who vie for his inheritance. Starring Marina Hedman, featuring lots of disco dancing and one of the longest most gratuitous catfights ever put to film. There are a lot of different cuts out there; everything from pornographic to TV prime-time friendly. I'm pretty sure this is the same movie as L'amante Bisex (1984); except that has more explicit material censored from the '81 release.






















CHARACTERS
RATING: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ 5/10

REVIEW: A stupendously sleazy hot mess. I'm sure there is a "director's cut" out there which would help put this all together - and perhaps watching L'amante Bisex (1984) would help makes sense of it as well. As it stands, it's just a fun, hopelessly trashy ride.

SYNOPSIS

Antonio (Enzo Andronico) is a filthy rich playboy. He's surrounded by three beautiful women at all times. Marina Hedman, Nadine Roussial and Marilina (Sonia Bennett). I'm not sure the character names for Hedman and Roussial; so, we'll just go with the actress' names from here onward. Antonio eats and enjoys the show the girls put on for him. Unfortunately for Antonio, the sight of Marina on the table gives him a heart attack. He doesn't die, but lies at death's door in bed.

Marina visits her lover at his groovy pad. She's told to go to Antonio's and get a piece of the inheritance before he kicks the bucket. When she arrives at Antonio's residence she runs into his ex-wife (Adriana Bonfanti). They fall into an intense cat fight. Rogero (Antonio's son) jumps into the mix. Words cannot describe how out-of-control this fight is. It goes on and on; absolutely gratuitous and hilarious. Marina and Nadine get the idea to speed up Antonio's demise via a little something in his drink. Marina and Sonia have a thing going on. When a lawyer arrives to get Antonio's estate in order, Adriana is all over him. The three ladies work their magic on Adriana, bringing her over to their side. That evening, while Antonio languishes in his bedroom upstairs, the ladies disco the night away. The lawyer, Rogero and Kieran Canter join the party. Kieran Canter joins Marina and Sonia in bed for a threesome. The lawyer goes to town with Nadine and Adriana. More disco dancing ensues. It ends with them all just partying until they've passed out. No real resolution to the inheritance comes to pass. THE END

    Thanks again for talking about another interesting movie I'd never know of otherwise. I did go through a copy of the 1984 version and beyond barely being able to see anything due to darkness, there isn't much to say - there are a few different scenes even outside of the XXX content, including one near the end, but I'm not sure it made any difference. In the XXX version the guy who plays the lawyer is the main stud - I think he has extended scenes with almost all the main female cast members. A few of the others, mainly the guy playing the son, don't seem to be as focused on even when given those scenes. Still, at least they seemed to try to show the actual people instead of the dreaded inserts (admittedly the lighting was so terrible they could have all been inserts...).
