Surgeons Go Hand In Hand (1980)

Original Title: A los cirujanos se les va la mano (1980); a comedy from Argentina, featuring hot ladies and wildly politically incorrect humor.

Susana (Susana Giménez) and Moria (Moria Casán) are two new super hot doctors at the hospital.

Alberto (Alberto Olmedo) and Jorge (Jorge Porcel) are a couple of horny, loser orderlies.  They pretend to be surgeons to impress the new doctors.

Much of the movie is spent just watching Alberto and Jorge find ways to molest the patients.  Jorge observes an actual doctor assist a female.

Jorge appears later dressed as a nurse, bringing an enema.  Isn't that funny?

This lady (Giselle Durcal) had a broken leg, that they just took the cast off.

Jorge can't help but manhandle her.  They go crashing onto the bed, and her leg is broken again.

Another sexy patient - played by Mónica Lander

Posing as a doctor, Alberto prepares her for the operation.  She removes her panties and he breaks out the shaving cream and razor.  They don't show it of course, but it's extremely funny (and sleazy).

Susana and Alberto respond to an emergency.

They arrive at a house and find it's been completely smashed up. The girl explains that her drunk uncle went crazy on the sauce.

Before I mentioned this humor was politically incorrect and would not fly today.  The girl explains the violent encounter, and Alberto gets spastically horny from the story... eventually unable to contain himself, and jumps her bones.

Let's not forget the main reason to watch this: Susana Giménez and Moria Casán are drop dead gorgeous and constantly showing off their gams.

At a motel, Jorge straight-up tears off Moria's uniform.

Something resembling a real story develops, which requires Moria to pose as a cigarette girl at a cabaret.  Here, we get the only nudity from one of the two main actresses.

Moira gets into a confrontation with the real cigarette girl (Elvia Andreoli), and knocks her out.

A mob boss must be operated on.  Jorge and Alberto have been posing as surgeons, so must keep up the charade.  A funny predicament (but it goes on for a long, long time).

Fittingly, it ends in the most politically incorrect manner imaginable.  The boys turn on the gas; their noses are plugged, but Susana and Moira are knocked out.  Are we to presume they'll have sex with them unconscious?  I don't think we're supposed to think that through.

It seemed a lot like a TV show on one of the Spanish language channels.  But it had a few good things going for it: Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel are extremely funny; their physical comedy (Alberto in particular) is pure madcap fun.  Susana Giménez and Moria Casán flaunt their assets throughout; and, finally, there is a decent amount of nudity.  So, while it's stupid and doesn't even attempt a story until the final third of the film, it's still, all-in-all, a little better than you might expect... and refreshingly offensive.

  1. Marco Benitez, "Must average a politically incorrect scene every 10 minutes or so. Seems like there were very good reasons to visit an Argentine hospital in the 1980s, namely the doctors as well as the nurses."
