Maidens of the Dormitory (1976)

Original Title: Les demoiselles de pensionnat.  A strange French film about sex slavery.

 I watched the German release.

There's a battle between crime bosses. Here, Carmillo owes Sergio money.  Who cares?  The film's biggest fail is that the first twenty minutes is just this garbage, that honestly means very little to the story.  Skip the first twenty, and you'll find a much better movie.

But don't skip this part.  One of the crime bosses, Cesar, has a super hot babe at his service.

Evelyne Manta plays Cesar's honey.  But don't go looking to IMDb to find that out; a lot of the actors names are not listed there.

The phone rings and Evelyne Manta has to get out of the hot tub, crawl across the bed, get the phone, then take her sweet time bringing it back. It has to be seen to be believed.

Interpol gets Sergio.  But don't worry, none of this will matter in a few minutes, when the real film starts.  It's almost as if they just tacked on this garbage crime story at the beginning because the film wasn't long enough.

Okay, let's pretend all that never happened (except the hot tub girl).  Now, let's meet two schoolgirl friends, Claude (Corinne Lemoine) and Veronique (Michèle Grubert).

To earn a little extra money they agree to pose for some photographs.

Wow.  How easily these virginal schoolgirls disrobe for some quick cash.

After the photography session, Veronique goes home for piano lessons from Mr. Rabi.

And I think you can guess where that was headed.

Meanwhile, Claude has sex with the photographer - her first time. The guy tells her she could make "real" money, not by posing for photos, but actually having sex.

Claude calls Veronique: "I have an idea.  Let's try to be whores."

They meet in the park.  I love the way this is shot, with Claude almost providing an A-Frame.

They come up with a game plan, and begin whoring.

 Jean is their first customer.

But it doesn't turn out quite as they'd hoped.  Jean holds them at gunpoint and brings them with him.

They're brought to a rural estate where they become sex slaves.  Toni runs the business, and is accompanying his guest, Karla (Martine Audouart), who also is in the business.

Toni shows his esteemed guest her room. I love what she's wearing. I hope that style comes back.

After Toni leaves, we can see that Karla is up to something.

She keeps a gun in her garter, like she's a spy or something.

Karla is one of the world's top sex slave operators, and Toni wants to impress his client. He explains that his sex slaves undergo an extensive brainwashing regimen.

Toni introduces Karla to Marie (Danielle Altenburger) who is in charge of most of the training/brainwashing.

Toni and his two assistants, Jean and Erik, show Karla his three brainwashed sex slaves: Veronique, Claude and Jenny (Corinne Lemoine).

Jenny has been through the whole brainwashing process; Marie has her demonstrate how obedient she is and how perfect she has been trained.

Veronique, still relatively new, has a lot to learn.

Afterwards. Veronique cries and suggests they try to escape.  Jenny tells her it's hopeless.  There is no escape.

Meanwhile, Claude's parents meet with Inspector Risochi about their missing daughter.

Another girl, Lilian (Erika Cool), is abducted.

Erik and Jean interrogate her. When Erik leaves, Jean and Lilian have sex.

Later, Toni brings Lilian into the room and has Erik rip her clothes off.

 Lilian begs Jean for help.

Jean has taken a liking to the girl, and pulls out a gun, demanding they let her go.  Ultimately, Lilian is not released, and Jean has to flee.

Marie gives the girls their daily brainwashing lessons. You'll note the bondage devices on the coffee table.

Pedro, a customer from South America arrives.  Check out Martine Audouart's legs.

Claude, Veronique and Lilian slowly start to relax and enjoy their captivity.

The girls are brought before rich men wearing creepy masks.  It's now time for them to perform their sex slave duties.

But Karla is actually an undercover spy, and the police arrive just in time.  The girls are saved. THE END

The most confounding thing about this film is that it just loses track of what it is.  It starts as a boring crime story, then a jaunty story about two girls who decide to be whores, which then turns into a sex slave drama... which then basically abandons the two girl characters and now concentrates on an undercover spy... but then focuses on a newly abducted girl... WTF?  Why was there a piano teacher scene?  Why do we need to be introduced to Pedro? What became of Sergio? Damn this movie is a discombobulated mess.

But, the girls look good and get naked a fair amount.  However, you'll note that Claude (Corinne Lemoine) and Veronique (Michèle Grubert) really don't get naked once they become sex slaves - which is rather curious.  A hot mess, but the T&A quotient is still quite high.
