REVIEW: This was a lot of fun. I love those eighties outfits, the girls are gorgeous, and the film plays out like one big sexy cartoon. I was surprised that Ginger Lynn's character was so minor - she was barely in this. Also surprising was the very sparse amount of nudity. This was clearly intended for Up All Night and cable viewing with precious little to have to censor out. So, while not great, it was still fun - light 'n fluffy like a Twinkie, with really no substantive ingredients other than eye candy.
SYNOPSIS
The new recruits in Vice Academy. Let's meet the main characters in the front row... The spoiled, stuck-up Holly Wells (Ginger Lynn) whose father is the chief of police. Spunky Didi (Linnea Quigley), ditzy Shawnee (Karen Russell), and brainless doofus Dwayne (Ken Abraham). Miss Thelma Louise Devonshire (Jayne Hamil) asks Shawnee to demonstrate how to disarm an aggressor. She pulls her top down; then grabs the distracted aggressor's gun. Miss Devonshire shows how to do it properly - kicking Dwayne in the nuts. Miss Devonshire invites the entire class to take turns practicing - and Dwayne gets repeatedly kneed in the balls.
Training begins. We watch the girls on the shooting range and obstacle course. Didi and Shawnee go as undercover prostitutes. They run across a beaten up prostitute Cherry Pop (Allison Barron). She's a victim of an underground prostitution ring. Each recruit must arrest ten people in order to graduate. Didi, Dwayne and Shawnee decide they're going to go after the prostitution ring to meet their quota. Miss Devonshire types up a fake resume for Didi to go undercover at a porno movie - which supposedly serves as a front for the prostitution ring.
Didi poses as "Fluffy" to take part in the porno. Didi is instantly over-the-moon for her porn co-star, Chucky Long (Stephen Steward). The director is played by Viper, a notorious real-life porn star. Shawnee and Dwayne bust onto the set and arrest everyone. But Didi takes Chucky Long into a dark room, handcuffs him, and proceeds to basically rape him! Didi and Holly hate each other's guts. An epic cat fight ensues. For some reason the Batman TV theme song is playing in the background. It's time to start busting hookers to meet their quota. Sparkle (Joe Steele) is among the first to get loaded into their police van. Sparkle and Tinsel (Tamara Clatterbuck) roll around in the back of the van. Next, they arrest a bunch of prostitutes operating out of a laundromat. Shawnee poses as a prostitute at the laundromat to nab some johns and meet their quota - graduation is tomorrow!
The whores retaliate! They subdue Dwayne and the girls, and commandeer the van. Shawnee and Dwayne are tied up at the headquarters of the prostitution ring. Queen Bee (Jean Carol) is the group's leader. Didi enlists the help of Chucky Long (who's still handcuffed in that room!) to help rescue Shawnee and Dwayne. Shawnee is freed, but must contend with Snake (Manny Serrano).Shawnee uses the tactic she used at the beginning of the film. It works! It's graduation time. Miss Devonshire and Police Chief Wells (Cliff Corder) are startled to see Didi, Dwayne and Shawnee steer their van right into the middle of the ceremony. Holly's graduation gown is ripped off in the commotion. They unveil their catch - the prostitution ring all crammed in the back of the van. So, at the last minute Didi, Dwayne and Shawnee are able to graduate. Cherry Pop and Chucky Long are there to cheer them on. It ends with a really nice group shot. Worthy of framing. THE END
