Dracula's Fiancee (2002)

What's Jean Rollin but up to after all this time?  Well, in 2002 he released La Fiancée de Dracula.  His erotic surrealist horror flicks are always a mixed bag for me.  I love Euro-horror-sleaze, but his work often was a bit too artsy - style put way, way over substance.  Yet, like a Jesus Franco flick, I keep coming back for more.  Let's have a look at a Rollin flick made a couple decades after his heyday.

Sex of the Witch (1973)

It's an Italian flick with Camille Keaton about heirs to a fortune who meet untimely ends.  With a lurid title like this, we just have to take a look.

Bikini Academy (1996)

We've taken a look at Bikini Drive-In from the year before, also featuring Tane McClure and Ashley Rhey, so why not continue the saga?  From Rick Sloane, the writer/director who gave us the Vice Academy and Hobgoblin series.

Victims! (1985)

IMDb has a release date of 1985, but this was definitely made in the mid to late seventies.  I don't know if this violent, grainy, terribly made film ever saw the inside of a theater or drive-in, but it  made it to VHS in the mid-eighties.  Victims! is a bit of a mystery - I don't know who plays who, and it seems to be a combination of a couple films.  If it was any good, someone would have probably investigated this by now and we'd know more.  For now, it's just a shitty, mean-spirited exploitation flick. that we know precious little about.

Last Caress (2010)

An ode to Giallos and Euro-Horror from the seventies from France; basically a non-stop homage that's skillfully directed, but  may have you wondering why you're watching a modern imitation instead of the real thing.  Let's have a look...

The Sex Adventures of the Three Musketeers (1971)

The Man from O.R.G.Y. (1970)

The film adaptation of Ted Marks' The Man from O.R.G.Y. series.  "Meet Steve Victor, a new breed of agent. He stands up for what he believes in ... SEX!"

Meat for Satan's Icebox (2004)

This movie reminded me a lot of Bloodsucking Freaks and The Sinful Dwarf - a dark and grainy tale of women being tortured, with no regard for boundaries whatsoever. I can truly say I have not run across a movie like this in a long, long time - it was nonstop, relentless horror of the sleaziest, most depressing kind.  It I can't quite put it into words, so let's have a look...

Brain Dead (2007)

Tagline: "An alien parasite hungry for human hosts ... The infected rising from the dead, ravenous for brains ... A group of desperate misfits battling for survival ... Someone has a really bad travel agent!"

Porn Shoot Massacre (2009)

I'm a sucker for a good B-movie title, and it doesn't get much better than this.  Let's see if the film can live up to the name.

The Centerfold Girls (1974)

A trilogy of terrifying tales of a serial killer who's murdering girls who appear as centerfolds.  "He was their judge, jury... and executioner!"

Terror Firmer (1999)

Lloyd Kaufman tests the boundaries of tastelessness and then breaks them down and goes twenty miles further.  This is as wild and filthy as Troma ever got - definitely worth a look...

Skin Crawl (2007)

A low budget horror flick starring Debbie Rochon - there's something about an ancient curse, something about a double cross for an inheritance, and lots about Julian Wells' titties.

Broadcast Bombshells (1995)

This, That and the Other (1970)

AKA A Promise of Bed; It's a trilogy of odd little tales from the UK.

A standard WIP movie, but this one stars a VZ1 favorite, Tane McClure as well as Carrie Genzel, who'd go on to quite a bit of success in mainstream TV and film.

Beast of the Yellow Night (1971)

The first picture to be released from Roger Corman's new company - New World Pictures.  It was filmed in the Philippines, and called by the LA Times: "confusing, implausible rather poorly made horror film"
