REVIEW: Although it isn't quite as good as Agent 69 in the Sign of Scorpio (1977), it's still a lot of fun. I would have liked it more if Cia Löwgren had provided more skin, but it's a small complaint for a film with wall to wall nudity. I'll say once again that the addition of hardcore scenes (mostly body doubles) adds nothing, and ruins any chance of cult favorite status. Without those scenes, it's a genuinely entertaining film that should be watched by any fan of the sex comedy genre.

SYNOPSIS

It's the 1930s, and there are two major record companies. Anthon Master (Ole Søltoft) is the head of Master Records. Also constantly surrounded by nude women is Ulrik Ulvenstein, owner of the competing label, Onofon records. Why is Ulrik and his entourage so amazed?.... The ravishing singing sensation, Dolores Rossi (Cia Löwgren). Both record producers want Dolores on their label. Who will she pick - Master Records or Onofon? She tells Anthon Masters and Ulrik Ulvenstein that she will tell them on Wednesday; on that day, they will play a game of poker - she will sign with the winner.

Anthon only has eyes for Nora (Eva Weinreich), Ulrik Ulvenstein's secretary. But she won't have anything to do with him because he's not a Gemini like her. A couple of Ulvenstein's goons abduct Anthon. The plan is to have him out-of-the-picture when Wednesday rolls around. Dolores will have no choice but to go with Onofon records. The next morning, Masters' butler goes to his bed and finds him missing! Leopold the butler finds a bunch of sleeping beauties but no Anthon. The girls awake to find a ransom note. Bibi reads the letter stating that Anthon is being held hostage, and ransom money must be left at a bath house.

As luck would have it, Anthon has an identical twin, Benny (also Ole Søltoft). Benny doesn't have the same ladykiller temperament as his brother, and is a bit freaked out by his predicament. But he will serve nicely as a replacement on Wednesday. Benny is introduced to the ladies: Bibi (Louise Frevert), Susi (Anne Bie Warburg), Anne (Lisbeth Olsen) and Misse (Lise Henningsen). Bibi shaves Benny's beard to make him look more like his brother. Bibi and Misse are off to the "bath house" (which really just a health club) to bring the ransom money, while Anne and Susi teach Benny the ways of love, so he'll be more convincing in Anthon's role. The health club provides a ton of incredible shots of nude Scandinavian women getting a workout. Bibi and Misse notice a strange, obese, fully dressed woman suspiciously prowling around the premises. That's Max (Karl Stegger), one of Ulvenstein's goons. Max, snoops around the facility looking for the ransom money, but keeps landing in rooms full of naked women. Max somehow gets tasked with massaging Ms. Peterson. Max has grabbed the money and is making a break from the bath house through the sauna. Misse and Bibi follow close behind. Bibe and Misse tail Max on their tandem bike (but only had time to throw on a shawl - so, passerby get an eyeful).

Ulvenstein tries to get Dolores to sign the contract, but she's still holding out for Wednesday. Besides, she has a meeting with Anthon on Tuesday. Tuesday arrives and Dolores gives Anthon a call. Ulvenstein is shocked to hear her talk to Anthon (really Benny) on the other line. In preparation for the meeting, Bibi tries to train Benny in the art of lovemaking, but he's totally hopeless. Benny only manages to hurt the poor woman. The girls wonder how this guy came from the same mother as Anthon. Bibi asks Leopold the butler for help. He brings in a couple which demonstrate proper sexual intercourse for Benny.

The Tuesday meeting arrives, and Dolores has made herself ready for the occasion. Benny and Dolores play strip poker. If he wins, he can maybe secure the contract. Meanwhile, Anthon is being rescued by Nora. Benny is a complete buffoon and barely knows how to play. He's basically shed all his clothes. At last, Dolores has to shed one item of clothing - her nightgown. Dolores leaves him with a bottle of champagne as she goes to freshen up. While she's away, Benny is abducted by Ulvenstein's goons; but is replaced by the real record exec, Anthon. Dolores is confused why he suddenly is wearing all his clothes. The next couple hands are totally different; Anthon is a master card player and quickly wins. Anthon wins the final hand, but just when she's about to pull off her last stitch of clothing, the telephone rings. Anthon tells Dolores to put her clothes back on. They're going to the place where he was held captive - backstage at the local amusement park's haunted ride.

Nora is busy rescuing once again. This time, she's untying Benny. Bibi and the girls arrive and attack Nora, mistakenly thinking she's on the Ulvenstein's side. There's a long catfight with plenty of clothing ripped off; but, it's filmed where it's hard to get a clear picture of what's going on. Nora ends up tied to the ride of the haunted attraction. As everyone converges on the haunted attraction, things get "wacky". The police arrive, Ulvenstein's goons are there, so are Anthon and Dolores, plus Anthon's harem, etc. It's a frantic mess, but provides some cool shots inside the haunted ride - with Anne running around completely nude. When Anne gets pleasured by the police, it provides an unexpected element to the ride for unsuspecting guests on the haunted attraction. Finally, Ulvenstein's group is beaten. Both Nora and Dolores rush to hug their man (Nora thinks he's Benny, Dolores thinks he's Anthon). When the girls see Benny and Anthon together, they faint straight away. In the epilogue, the girls do a dance for their boyfriends in sheer garments. Anthon is paired with Dolores (who obviously signed with his company) and Nora gets Benny. They live happily ever after.
