Colpo Grosso (Part 4)

 

Colpo Grosso was an Italian game show famous for including nudity. Please see the Colpo Grosso Main Page for episodes covered and background information.  Tutti Frutti (see the see the Tutti Frutti Main Page) was a spin-off mostly filmed at the same Italian studio, and both became wildly popular among early satellite customers... and also widely criticized by the usual troublemakers, feminists and conservatives.

We're taking a peek at a bunch of Colpo Grosso episodes - such an major player and influence in "sexploitation" media during the 1990s. We'll refrain from providing details about every episode's game play. Instead, we'll look at the three items we care about: (1) the hostesses, (2) the Cin Cin girls, (3) the Stelle di Europa (aka Eurogirls) (4) the female contestant, and (5) the closing credits outro or the so-called "Superstar Performance".

Perhaps my favorite moments from Colpo Grosso are the awkward shots of the male contestant looking up at the female contestant. They never seem to appear particularly overjoyed about what's happening before them.

Marta filled in for Angelique as pineapple for a time.  Here she is getting completely naked as a jungle girl in the Superstar Spotlight.
